Majesty manages to escape and team up with a Pirate outfit. The governments of the Federation feel that she is a terrible danger to the safety of the Milky Way galaxy. She must be destroyed. Fair book
Well worth the read! Good storyline and characters. Looking forward to the next book and hope it continues to build upon this books foundation.
I am going to buy all the other books in this series. The author creates memorable characters and puts them right where they need to be. Good entertainment!
quick and easy
Good Book
Majesty's Offspring starts off rather slowly, but builds momentum as it goes along. By the end of the "book", the characters are relatively fleshed out and the story is engaging. But then the book ends. Calling the ending a "cliffhanger" would do discredit to the term. The book just... ends. It would be an acceptable ending for a TV show's season finale, but not for a book. I know it's free (or at least it was at the time of my review) but nothing irks me more than reading 280 pages for no reason. If the author had warned me ahead of time that this was half a book, I would have avoided it. If the author had provided me a complete book, I would have given him a better review and perhaps even purchased the sequel. As it is, he's getting 2 stars for an fairly good first half of a story. I'll give him the other two if he gives me the rest of the book.
